Currently require a Deskside Engineer based in Cork to work onsite at Little Island, Full-time Perm Role - Salary €28k per annum


DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Desktop support - Level 2
* Provide support on client sites.
* Work to resolve client issues to agreed service levels and in a professional manner.
* Take ownership of calls escalated from the service desk; adherence to client processes
* IPhone - IPad troubleshooting
* Videoconferencing equipment and setup support
* Dedicated commitment to service quality.
* Candidate will need to demonstrate that they can work well in a team environment
* Answer contacts and reply to emails promptly and professionally
* Log/Validate all contacts in Ticket Handling Database
* Manage end to end all tickets logged, providing regular updates to customers on call status
* Invoke Escalation Procedures within defined time frames
* Working in a regulated environment, the candidate will need to be consistent in following safety and operational procedures
* Adhere to all CAMS asset management requirements
* Build and deploy PCs, patch network points, troubleshoot printer problems, support standard software packages, according to current procedures
* Organize daily workflow using call logging system to respond, update progress and close out reported incidents.
* Ad hoc Tasking requiring best efforts and positive attitude



ESSENTIALS SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience of working in Desktop support role (2yrs+, more if from a Service Desk background))
* Customer service skills essential
* Strong Troubleshooting and Analytical skills as well as excellent multi-tasking abilities required.
* Very strong customer facing skills.
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Windows Operating systems
* Experience in supporting and troubleshooting MS office applications.
* Some printer hardware knowledge


DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
* In depth Win XP, 7 MS Office knowledge
* ITIL certification
* Strong interpersonal skills and high awareness of customer needs
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
