The role will involve:

*To take customer orders by telephone, fax and letter and to ensure they are processed meeting the customer's known requirements or providing information where this is not possible.

*To ensure also that each order is accurately processed with regard to price/discounts, and within such time as to allow for prompt and cost effective delivery.

*To increase orders whenever possible by telephone contact with existing and potential customers and generally promote customer relations and service.

*To raise Goods Return Notes and Credit Request Forms as necessary.

*To type quotations and any other correspondence related to sales order processing using available facilities.

*To ensure all relevant correspondence and paperwork is filed accurately and to retrieve it upon request.

*To perform general office duties including being the first point of contact for incoming calls.

*To raise and dispatch accurate invoices against customer orders.

Experience with SAP is a key advantage.
