ManpowerGroup Named a Worlds Most Ethical & a Most Admired Company

Published on: 20 Mar 2017

ManpowerGroup has been recognised for the seventh consecutive year as a World's Most Ethical Company by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining ethical business practices. ManpowerGroup has also been named one of Fortune Magazine's World's Most Admired Companies for the 14th year in a row – one of just 40 companies to be named to both lists in 2017.

Ethisphere's World's Most Ethical Companies recognises organisations that demonstrate real ethical leadership within their industries. ManpowerGroup scored high marks in all five categories: Compliance & Ethics Program; Corporate Governance; Culture of Ethics; Citizenship, Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility; and Leadership, Innovation and Reputation.

Fortune's World's Most Admired Companies is the report card on corporate reputations. Rankings are based on nine key attributes of reputation, from quality of products/services to long-term investment. ManpowerGroup scored highest in categories including Social Responsibility, Global Competitiveness and Use of Corporate Assets.

"At ManpowerGroup, we believe that running a successful business and providing meaningful and sustainable employment for millions of people is a unique and powerful combination for sustainable growth," said Jonas Prising, Chairman & CEO, ManpowerGroup. "We're proud to be the only company in our industry recognised as Most Ethical and Most Admired. It's testament to our 28,000 employees across the globe who successfully serve our clients and at the same time, provide millions of people with the guidance and opportunities that develop their skills to gain meaningful employment in today's fast-changing world of work."
