Our production operators work a four week shift rota, 3 day shifts one week, 4 day shifts the next, then repeating the same pattern on night shift for two weeks. They earn approximately £28k per annum inclusive of shift allowance. There is also the potential to increase earnings through overtime which is paid at very good rates. As well as a great remuneration package, you will receive 20 shifts annual leave along with rostered days off, Manpower pension scheme, free parking, free on-site gym, and the opportunity to join wellness and social events throughout the year.
We are very proud that our Manpower employees are fully integrated into our team. To us, there is no difference between our contract staff and our NEG permanent staff. Remuneration, workwear, overtime working, and training and development opportunities are all consistent - we are "One Team". We are also very proud to have made 90 contract operatives into permanent members of the NEG team over the last five years, with many of these people progressing on into other roles, including Team Leader, Supervisor and Technician roles.
