Graduate Integration Engineer - SAP Galway

Manpower have an exciting opportunity on site with our client, SAP; we are seeking a Graduate Integration Engineer for their Cloud Service Center on their Galway site.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The Business Networks team in the Cloud Service Center connects customers and partners through the SAP Cloud Platform, offering added value in data exchange, advanced security, and a specialized onboarding service.

As an Integration Engineer, you will be part of a core team, carrying out the technical onboarding and integration of customer systems to SAP Business Networks.

In this role, you will be designing and deploying integration content which allows participants to interconnect; working in a fast paced, cloud-centric environment.

You will interact closely with team members, and with customers on a technical level, as you collaboratively plan and execute customer and partner onboardings.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

•             Involved and eventual leading (after training) customer onboardings to SAP Business Networks

•             Design and deployment of integration content, including process flows and message transformation, using Eclipse with SAP tools and plugins

•             Provide context and explanations to customers during onboarding to SAP Business Networks

•             Assist customers in ERP/PI Configuration and SAP B2B System integration after training

•             Become a key member of the SAP Business Network Onboarding Team, driving process and technical improvements

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

•             Bachelor degree or above in Commercial Information Technology, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

•             Analytic and problem-solving mindset.

•             Fluent English, written and oral, and clear communication skills.

•             Time management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively.  

•             Knowledge in Development IDEs, preferably Eclipse.

•             Knowledge of Web Services would be nice to have.

•             Good understanding of networking a distinct advantage (OSI, TCP/IP, primary networking concepts).

•             Good understanding of Network Security a distinct advantage (PKI, TLS, common protocols and standards).
