Our client, a leading multinational enterprise IT Company based in Galway, is seeking an IT Incident Coordinator to support a new program.
This is a short term contract from 12th November 2017 - Feb 2018 (with possible extensions)
Main Responsibilities:
Work within the IT Command Centre with other operations personnel.
Monitor the IT Helpdesk for ticket elevations.
Quantify impact and assess priority of tickets.
Provide incident management support for the lifecycle of outages.
Engage with support teams across the IT Department as needed, through established processes.
Monitor Application Lifecycle dashboards, to ensure spin-merge schedule adherence.
Monitor Change Management dashboards
Work with change management & implementation teams to ensure the right resources are available to complete tasks.
Track/document reported IT issues/scheduling issues.
Requirement for this role
Essential:
Previous experience in a IT support environment and/or an IT Degree
Keen attention to detail
Team player
Ability to work in an organised way and follow procedures to tight deadlines
Ability to be flexible in a changing environment
Desirable:
Infrastructure knowledge
Hours and Shift Pattern:
4 days on and 4 days off - 06.30 : 16.30
Mon - Sun coverage
