Manpower is actively recruiting a Credit Analyst for a Global Healthcare Company in Dublin 22
The Credit Analyst will use financial statements to independently determine the financial condition of customers and make recommendations of credit limit for customers
This role is responsible for minimizing bad debt risk and maximizing accounts receivable collections
The Credit Analyst will assist with purchase order management, communicate with the credit department and participate in process improvement projects, and support other management directives as prescribed.
Essential Functions of the job
*Assess credit risk and establish credit limits.
*Analyze customer financial statements.
*Provide financial PO management support to Supply Chain and Sales and Marketing personnel to control credit exposure, effect timely payment, and minimize risk of customer disputes.
*Negotiate customer disputes to resolution and documents root cause.
*Provide customer service and develop relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers.
*Maintain accurate credit files and collection files.
*Maintain electronic collection notes for each customer account.
*Market, train, counsel, advise, and communicate credit department policy and procedures to company personnel.
*Participate in major department projects and take an active role in cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives.
*Actively participates and communicates in the team-based work groups that make up the Credit Department.
*Assist in the management of receivables finance
*Assist Cash Manager in Treasury functions
Requirements
*Third Level Qualification in related discipline
*Excellent MS Excel Experience
*Resilience
*Proactive
*Team player
