Business Development Representative, Air, Sea & Freight

My Client is a well-established industry leader providing freight, logistics and shipping solutions for businesses throughout Ireland, UK, Europe and globally. Due to a steady increase in increased demand in business orders they now have two opportunities for business development executives based in Dublin.

Job Description:
*Follow up leads, give price quotes over the phone and face to face to customers
*Contact customers regarding price, credit terms and invoicing queries
*Make sales on a national basis and retain, grow and develop existing customer base.
*Sales Targeting, Planning and Reporting
*Communicate with customers promoting business retention
*Help Identify and target new business
*Ensure procedures and compliance requirements are adhered to
*Maintain and keep up to date all CRM records
*Deal with and monitor customer queries and any other customer issues
*Remain current and up to date on new industry development and trends

Requirements:
*At least one year's experience it the logistics/freight/ shipping industry
*A least one year's experience in business development /Account management
*Have good presentation and communications skills
*Be able to work to deadlines and achieve KPIs and sales targets
*Have good business acumen commercially aware within this industry
*Must be able to work well within a team, have good admin skills
*Own car is required for occasional client visits which is fully expensed

Salary on offer is 40K - €50K basic pa (depending on experience) plus commissions.
