A leading Insurance organisation in Galway is seeking to with a qualified Motor Claims Handler..
The company will develop your experience and exposure in the insurance market to generate onward progression within their growing organisation.
The role will be to manage a portfolio of Bodily Injury files across General Liability with your key responsibilities to;·
General claims handling (windscreen, third party, own damage, Fire, theft, property, liability, bodily injury claims)
Prioritise of Claims workload, reserving in line with Claims Guidelines.
Claims management from notification through to settlement for all claim types.
Working closely with Service Providers to maximise service and limit costs across all claim types.
Responsible for ensuring claims costs are kept to a minimum through efficient procedures and management of TPP's and SLA's.
Identification, investigation and tactical management of potentially fraudulent claims.
Provide support to the other Claims team members as and when required and be open to furthering knowledge in the handling of Bodily Injury claims.
Claims reversing & reporting Large Losses to Underwriting Carrier.
Qualifications and experience
Ideally holds minimum APA designation, working towards CIP qualification and evidence of up to-date compliance with CPD requirements (where applicable).
Upholds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional studies.
Preferably III Member
Minimum 2 years previous experience in dealing with Motor Material Damage claims.
Salary will DOE, but is extremely competitive with a strong benefit package.
