The Warehousing & Inventory Control Operator is responsible for warehousing and inventory control activities tied to the handling, storage and distribution of raw materials, components, supplies and temperature-controlled plasma products.

Experience with handling temperature sensitive material highly preferred.

The Job

Manage receiving of packaging material, storage, issuance of packaging material & Pharmaceutical products to production in a cGMP/GDP compliant manner.

Preparing all pharmaceutical products and packaging material for a production order.

Unloading delivery vehicles and placing material into warehouse locations.

Ensure all materials are stored and handled in a compliant manner and that the appropriate controls are in place to effectively protect against damage, loss and/or shrinkage.

Organizes and maintains warehouse and working areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintains labelling system on each stock item; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.

Experience using automatic storage and retrieval systems

Create & maintain material master in SAP for inventory in area of responsibility

Manage all inventory in Manufacturing division.

Assist in annual inventory count in the manufacturing division.

Maintain proper housekeeping of warehouse and working areas at all times to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and regulatory requirements.

Maintains records and coordinates the periodic safety inspection and testing of material handling and specialized warehousing utility equipment. Perform minor equipment maintenance and repair.

Maintain, organize and archive documents in accordance with company procedures and/or policies.

Assist as needed in the development and execution of cold chain strategies to ensure product integrity and to demonstrate compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.

Participate in regulatory and internal inspections/audits





Requirements

· Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in a pharmaceutical, GMP, or EU regulated environment is required.

· Current forklift license (Reach, counter balance, PPT & VNA) with at least 2 years' experience

· Self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgement.

· Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels in a team environment.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make structured decisions on a routine basis.





PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



· Ability to lift /move up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to stand or sit for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.

· Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

· Manual dexterity to perform all job functions.

· Ability to gown and work in an aseptic/clean room environment.

· Exposure to below -20°C, moving machinery and production equipment.
