This position is responsible for ensuring the effective on-boarding of new and incremental Global Custody business. IST facilitates the Global Custody account opening processes; from initial request, documentation management, market communication and through to the publication of the completed Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs).

The team is client facing for existing custody clients, and responsible for end to end management of multi-faceted requests and maintaining the highest service standards. The team are required to possess a broad range of skills and learning, including; regulatory, risk, service, market and system knowledge.


Key Responsibilities:

- Designated contact for assigned clients which includes managing projects and progress trackers, participate in and facilitation of calls and meetings with clients about current requests.
- Act on authenticated requests covering 105 Sub-Custody markets and associated product offerings.
- Collaboration with business partners; Operations Teams, Implementation Managers, Client Executives (Sales), Service Managers, Network & Product Management.
- Ensure Safekeeping, Cash Account, Foreign Exchange, Online Banking entitlements and Swift messaging requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Co-ordinate distribution of new client documentation packs as well as tracking and successful lodgement.
- Input and participation in transformation and STP initiatives Manage change projects driven by client activity as well as those stemming from regulatory, market and product initiatives.


Experience and Skills

- Customer services experience Third Level Qualification in Financial Services or related exposure Experience gained within the financial services sector, preferably within Custody Operations FATCA, CASS, CRS, Depositor Protection and other regulatory experience preferable Comprehensive Risk and Controls Management knowledge
- Ability to act on own initiative and handle multiple assignments Proven ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Demonstrable initiative and flexibility Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong Office skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc)
