Our clients offers health, life and disability insurance as well as a wide range of health and protection services to employers and insurance partners worldwide.

To provide support to the Sales function by responding to sales enquiries, issuing quotations and overseeing the initial preparations involved in incepting new business and renewing clients (when required). The role will involve day to day contact with potential insured members, potential new and existing corporate schemes, intermediaries and AWC staff.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business
-Support the Sales Support team operationally with the distribution and management of workload each day.
-Ensure that book and experience rated proposals for defined client size (and re-quotes) are issued within agreed turnaround time of receipt of full information
-Pro-actively follow up with Sales Managers, Clients and Brokers to obtain any missing details
-Pro-actively and collaboratively work with the Pricing Team to ensure proposals are issued on time and to a high standard
-Tailoring of Tables of Benefits and terms to match potential clients current level of benefits opportunities
-Ensure internal guidelines for matching Table of Benefits are adhered to
-Support tender responses for New and existing Clients when required
-Support the sales process for new medium to large clients by pro-actively reaching out to Sales Managers, Brokers and Clients
-Create quotation documents using Salesforce and issue
-Document and regularly maintain all relevant information in Salesforce
-Follow up with direct clients
-Ensure feedback is analysed from failed opportunities or any part of the process to identify areas of improvement
-Track unsuccessful opportunities for the next years renewal and pro-actively follow up and ask client/broker can we quote again
-Implementation of new medium to large clients ensuring a smooth and seamless transfer
-Obtain fully signed off documentation in relation to the hand-over of new business to Operations
-Discuss and with support negotiate contract amendments with the Legal and other relevant teams
-Pro-actively follow up on Company contracts until signed agreement has been received
-Support implementation of large / key clients
-Discover and aims to convert opportunities for cross selling additional products or services

Client Experience
-Easy, quick and high quality interactions with all touch points and escalation resolution in a swift and client centric manner
-Provide effective, innovative and timely solutions to client`s business challenges
-Provide a positive and engaging client experience
-Mainly independently identify and implement efficient solutions to client`s requirements and challenges
-Independently manage any escalations to ensure a swift and client centric resolution
-Regularly review and analyse client experience results to identify possible areas for improvement
-Seek, document and share feedback from client on service delivery
-Boost client stickiness

Renewals (when required)
-Prepare and issue renewal documentation within agreed timeframes
-Independently negotiates renewal internally and externally to achieve favourable outcome for both sides
-Ensure regular client engagement by phone throughout the renewal process
-Communicate and document all agreements and requirements for the renewal

Other requirements
-Supports development and implementation of technical parameters, policies and frameworks for others to work within
-Participate in various operational activities, inside the Department to ensure that operational service delivery meets and exceed clients` expectations.

-Experience in a customer and quality focused environment, producing accurate work within team turnaround times
-Fluency in English and German required, a second European language will be an advantage
-Previous sales experience of at least 2 years is required
-Completion or progression towards the Irish Insurance Examinations or equivalent foreign qualification
-Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Knowledge of Salesforce
