Accounts Assistance, €30K - €35K, South Dublin

My Client is an established Insurance Broker based in South Dublin, they now have an opening for a Accounts Assistant.

It is a small, friendly, finance team so you will have the opportunity to further develop your accounting skills & experience and also learn about the insurance industry.
This is a full time, permanent position. Monday to Friday.

Accounts Assistant:
*Client receipts recording, posting and communicating to staff
*Insurance company reconciliations within the agreed credit terms
*Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations
*Weekly bank reconciliation
*Liaising with insurance companies and staff regarding accounts queries
*Maintenance of hard and soft copy files
*Check and cash lodgement to the bank Preparation of month end reconciliations and
reporting
*Processing of month end on the system
*Posting Sage transactions
*Assisting with the financial month and year-end audit
*Projects and tanks assigned by the Finance and Office Manager
*Develop and improve procedures
*Attend weekly meetings
*Order Stationery and general office supplies
*Develop/improve procedures
*Projects and tasks assigned by the Finance and Office Manager

Skills:
*Insurance Broking experience would be an advantage
*Microsoft Office with excellent Excel and Outlook experience
*A good understanding of general accounting/debtor and creditor ledgers
*A team player who is solution driven and who will work on their own initiative

Salary: €30K - €35K Full Time, Perm role.
