One of Ireland's top, high-end, specialist retailer's is now looking to hire a HR Generalist with Payroll experience. This is a permanent position based in Dublin.
Salary: €40K depending on experience. Full time, permanent role. Monday to Friday (flexible start).
Role:
*Manage internally weekly and monthly payroll for 100 staff
*Check staff times and hours for payroll: absenteeism, sick days, leave holidays etc
*Ideally have basic understanding of Irish DC pension scheme
*Ensure that HR practices and processes comply with employment legislation and company
policy
*Manage employee relation's initiatives by fostering a productive and open environment
*Manage the implementation and execution of new initiatives. Ensure company policies and
procedures are adhered to from a human resources perspective.
*Monitor the effectiveness of current policies, guidelines and procedures, and recommend
improvements where appropriate
*Identify training & development opportunities across the business and organise staff
training
*Review and oversee company documents with senior management
*Provide HR support to the company, including effectively managing individuals and
teams/functions. Ensuring continuity with internal performance management systems,
*Monitor the effectiveness of current policies, guidelines and procedures, and recommend
improvements where appropriate
*Manage sensitive employee personal issues, career advice and concerns with senior managers.
*Work with senior management to implement employment staff level strategy plans over the
next 5 years
*Manage the full life cycle recruitment activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience
at all times.
Your Experience:
*2 -3 years in a similar role
*Have experience processing payroll, weekly and monthly, for full time and part time staff
*Good communication skills
*Good MS Office, Excel and ideally Sage payroll
*HR qualification or relevant experience
*Retail experience would be a benefit
