My Client is an established Irish importer and distributer of construction materials & supplies, they now has an opening for a Supply Chain Co- Ordinator. They are based in North Dublin and distribute products throughout Ireland the UK.

This is a full time, permanent role, hours 9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri.

Salary: €33K to €35K plus pension

The Job:

Communicate with clients and suppliers by phone and email
Develop and maintain good business relationships
Work well within the team and be able to communicate with colleagues and managers
Follow up directly with department managers and sales reps regarding orders
Have good experience in stock level forecasting
Following up with suppliers for order times and status
Manage the PO processes, order confirmations, freight shipments, receipts
Upload and accurately updated orders on the stock system
Liaise with other departments to identify any shortfalls in stock or materials
Place orders and monitor progress to ensure sufficient stock levels
Monitor and maintain stock levels
Work to tight deadlines
Update computerised stock system to ensure sufficient products and materials are available
Monitor stock takes in the warehouse and inventory control, spot checks
Assist managers with new product introductions
Help implement cost controls, waste reductions and efficiency protocols
Work within pricing agreements

Your Skills & Experience:

Have 2 years plus in a similar role
You should be a good communicator and have experience dealing directly with suppliers
Be able to communicate well with your colleagues and managers
Be a problem solver and come up with solutions and adapt to change
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Have experience forecasting stock levels and working to deadlines
Have good computer skills, Excel and be able to learn new systems quickly
Have worked with ISO Quality Management Standards
