The role: Pre-Sales Manager
The successful person will manage a team of Pre-Sales support Engineers & Associates providing technical consultation to customers on product & solution portfolio.
The Manager will also assist in the creation & implementation of sales initiatives, optimal staffing for sales support execution & the establishment of best practices.
As Manager, you will work closely with our EMEA Inside Sales group.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Directly manages the day to day activities of pre-sales staff and sales support activities.
* Assigns areas of responsibility across team, including sales assignments or product speciality.
* Assists and identifies key accounts, emerging technologies and initiative areas to determine strategies that maximize revenue.
* Makes decisions for the team in support of regional goals and objectives; referring to upper management on major issues.
* Responsible for creating and maintaining sales support best practices with emphasis on proven methodologies to drive new sales revenue.
* Coordination of activities with external customers, customer relationship events, and securing references.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* A 2nd European language in addition to English, highly preferred (not essential)
* Excellent knowledge and competence in multiple industries and market segments;
* Ability to lead and motivate a regional team, develop creative solutions to complex problems;
* Knowledge of sales methodologies and practices.
* Knowledge of company's marketing concepts.
