One of Ireland's top Insurance Companies now has a position for a Senior Accountant, roadside services & products.
This is a full time, permanent role, based in Dublin. Salary is up to €70K depending on experience plus benefits. This position reports directly to the CFO.
We are looking for an Accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience, (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, ACA) with strong commercial experience, financial budgeting and financial forecasting management and an ability to business & product performance. Ideally your experience includes exposure to the motor industry, road side operations & assistance or similar.
*Provide financial insight and analysis to commercial, operational and pricing decision making for insurance products. Provide Finance sign-off for commercial and investment decisions on Roadside services and products
*Providing financial insight and analysis to our insurance product / channel strategy; assessment of strategic opportunities and maintaining an oversight on their progress.
*Have the ability to analyse and identify key trends in financial data
*Planning and financial modelling
*Provide financial insight and analysis to commercial, operational and pricing decision making for Roadside Assistance/ Membership products. Provide Finance sign-off for commercial and investment decisions on Roadside Assistance/ Membership products.
*Providing financial insight and analysis to our Roadside Assistance/ Membership product / channel and fleet strategy; assessment of strategic opportunities and maintaining an oversight on their progress.
*Owner of the budgeting, forecasting process and planning models for Roadside Assistance/ Membership products, ensuring that Roadside Assistance/ Membership product planning deliverables are achieved within the overall company financial planning cycle deadlines.
*Presenting month end performance on Roadside Assistance/ Membership products, with commentary and recommendations to key stakeholders (Executive & Board)
*Working with the Analytics, Roadside Operations, Rescue Centre, Contact Centre Efficiency and Effectiveness teams, develop and enhance business models to allocate resources optimally
*Working closely with the analytics and operations teams, maintain continuous review of Roadside operations performance
*Manage the financial aspects of contractual negotiation and tenders and RFPs on all Roadside Assistance products
*Identifying and recommending solutions to Finance / Roadside Assistance / Membership process issues as the case may arise, and supporting the implementation of solutions through the company change process
