A large multinational IT company placed in Leixlip, which is a leader in providing HW components, SW and related services is looking for a new colleague to join their deskside support team, to support 4000+ users with their laptop SW & HW issues.
Your job will be:
-Providing 1st and 2nd level desktop/laptop support
-Monitor call management system to include continuous updating and closing of calls when resolved
-Provide support for Walk-in Service Centre, Installs, Breakfix, Refresh, Training Rooms, Conf Rooms/AV Support, Warehouse support, Remote Sites and Home Users, and Digital Signage
-Troubleshoot common Office Software Issues within the Office Suite
-Support Wireless office environment
-Offer productivity assistance, support and training to all customers
-Participate in HW/OS Refresh activity adhering to strict refresh schedules, refresh meeting attendance
-Provide support for all Warehouse equipment - RF guns, scanners, barcode label printers etc.
-Participate in weekly Audio Visual proactive maintenance schedule when required, log and resolve issues
To be successful you need:
-At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
-Proficient knowledge of Windows OS (Win8, 8.1, 10) and Microsoft Office suite
-Experience in Refresh/Rollout activity
-Excellent hardware knowledge
-Excellent communication skills and customer interaction abilities
-Unquestionably flexible and present a value-add performance.
