Scope/Overall Summary of Role:
The Purchasing Coordinator is a high-level administrative position within our Purchasing Department. The role will focus on day to day processing of order requisitions, placing orders on line and through supplier procurement portals.
Responsibilities
*Process Requisitions and issue Purchase Orders.
*Web ordering e-procurement.
*Organise inward freight & track shipments.
*Monitoring outstanding orders and liaising with customers confirming delivery dates.
*Following up on timely dispatches of processed orders.
*Recording freight information.
*Working closely with both sales & service teams ensuring timely & appropriate shipments.
*Communicate details pro-actively to customers.
*Liaising with all departments in the company.
Requirements:
*An enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational skills, an eye for detail and strong customer-orientated focus.
*Be articulate, flexible and motivated.
*Fluent in English.
*Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Be able to work well within a team environment, also demonstrating own initiative when required.
*The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with strong administration experience.
*Excellent time management skills with efficiency a priority.
*Strong IT & Administration Skills
