Are you an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant and looking to work in a busy, friendly company based in Dublin City Centre?
Book Keeper/Accounts Assistant.
Full Time, Permanent role: Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm. (40-hour week) There may be some flexibility on start times.
Salary: €35 to €45K depending on experience
(The client is prepared to do some training in areas that you might not have full experience in. Many of our customers are from the hospitality/hotel/restaurant business so if you have hospitality industry experience that would be a plus)
Overview:
*Bring accounts to trial balance for an external accountant
*Payroll, weekly and monthly
*VAT Returns
*Produce management accounts
*Knowledge of Payroll, Income Tax, Corporation, CGT/CAT and VAT
*Track expenses and process expense reports
*Reconcile accounts payable transactions
*Maintain vendor files/ payments
*Provide supporting documentation for audits
*Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly refunds to clients.
*Reconciliation of client bank accounts.
*Posting and allocating of payments to debtors account.
*General Bookkeeping duties.
*Other accounting duties as requested.
Experience:
*2 years plus experience in bookkeeping or experience as an Accounts Technician or Accounts Assistant.
*Knowledge of general accounting procedures
*Knowledge of accounting software
*Have very good communication interpersonal and communication skills
*Fluent English
