My Client is a Financial Management firm based in West Dublin. They now have an opening for an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Technician.
If you have 1 -2 years' plus accounting experience, maybe in a busy accounting or finance team, and would like to progress and build your career with an established financial company employing over one hundred staff, then this may be an ideal opportunity for you.
If you have experience working within banking or in a financial institution that would be an advantage, however candidates from all industries will be given full consideration.
This is a full time, permanent position, the salary will be €30K plus depending on experience.
Benefits: Contributed Pension, extra holidays, paid study.
The Position:
Process payment files
Process Direct Debit files
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash reconciliations.
Processing of closing statements to ensure full final proceeds are received
Support internal departments with Payment queries
Resolving any queries from clients in a timely and professional manner
Prepare and post month-end journals
Managing Client expenses invoices on a timely basis
Process invoices daily
Process expenses as needed
Daily posting of customer payments
Reconcile client bank accounts
Other accounting duties as needed
Skills:
1 - 2 years plus working as an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Technician
Accounting technician qualification or other an advantage
Have very good MS Office, Excel, Outlook and systems experience
Be a good team player and work well in a team
Have very good communications skills
Have excellent attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy skills
