The role: Accounts Payable
Processing role within the Specialised Agency Operations Team supporting our Account Bank, Project Finance, Structured Finance & Escrow Agent functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive & validate Customer instructions according to specific deal conditions
* Monitor system based diary and data base (ATIS) for pre-determined Customer payments
* Record & enter payment instructions for London based and for Overseas based
* Prepare non-discretionary investments/ redemptions in a range of Money Market Funds
* Completion of end of day reconciliations/ monitor accounts
* Prepare non-discretionary investments in a range of Money Market and time deposits
Development Value:
* Enhance Agency and Trust knowledge with opportunities to progress within the business.
* Varied internal and external communication with Customers and Agency & Trust font office.
* Exposure to operational aspects of Escrow/ M&A / Project Finance and Structured Finance transactions with further scope to gain exposure to Loan Administration and Collateralised Debt Obligation deals (CDO)
Knowledge/Experience:
* Ideally from an Operations background with understanding of the principals of funds transfer, internal funding & cash/ nostro reconciliation.
* At least 12 months experience of payment formatting/SWIFT
Skills:
* Understanding of electronic payments formatting (103/202) is preferable
* Strong organizational skills & work accurately under pressure
* Attention to detail - processing requirements are deal specific
Qualifications:
* Degree level education is preferable.
