One of the leading providers of network access solutions is looking for Sales Operations Pricing Lead to be an escalation point for EMEA Pricing team and Field Sales Management. This role is focused on pricing analysis on high-touch, strategic deals, along with a very high level of interaction with the Sales and Pricing organizations.
Your job will be:
*Review and analyze pricing requests within EMEA, provide guidance and negotiate with the sales team/pricing team to reach final pricing agreement,
*Mentor, guide and develop 17 members of the Pricing Team,
*Collaborate with extended teams to accurately assess and price cross-portfolio deals,
*Review, maintain and own company Pricing delegations for other business units
*Engage with Field Sales Management and the EMEA Sales VP in order to review and negotiate deals, providing a high-level summary and pertinent decision making information,
*Identify potential issues and problems with tools or process and escalate them for the resolution to prevent interruption to the work of the sales team,
*Liaise with the Process Engineers to develop the overall systems management framework, including policies, documentation, training and audit plans, to ensure efficiency and performance,
*This role requires that the successful candidate has a strong sense of urgency and accountability, will quickly become an SME on the various pricing methodologies and immerse themselves in quarterly forecasting, eCPQ best practices and ensures the smooth operations
To be a good fit you need:
*3-4 years of experience directly in a pricing environment is essential, preferably in a large competitive multinational company
*A strong numerical mindset is key, with an ability to quickly identify risk factors,
*A track record of leadership, escalation resolution and a keen sense of business awareness,
*Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel,
*The ideal candidate will be analytically minded; a decisive problem solver; focused, organized & driven; self-starter; have strong communication skills; passion & pride in their work; flexibility to adjust to requirements and ability operate in a dynamic and fast changing environment
