Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Chemical Process Operator is responsible for all tasks associated with the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and the operation of an API plant.
Responsibilities:
The role involves but is not limited to:
*The handling of chemicals
*The preparation and monitoring of equipment
*The use of business systems
*Carrying out of tasks including cleaning, validation, in-process testing and documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate will hold a Leaving Certificate or beyond. A knowledge of chemistry and previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
This role involves shift working as the plant operates on a 24/7 basis. Good communication skills and team working skills are essential.
This position is at grade B22 and is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
