Proservia Manpower is looking for a new member of the team to support one of their biggest clients. Join the team and become the main person to solve anti-virus and encryption issues, support clients and solve other minor technical issues.
Your job will be:
*Monitor and report on SEP & SEE compliance.
*Take the lead on anti-virus and encryption tickets.
*Communicate with users with non-compliant machines.
*Act as a point of contact for Symantec.
*Daily reporting of all machines with an older version of SEP client.
*Daily reporting of all machines with AV definitions out of date (Daily average 300).
*Daily reporting of all machines within 5 days of leaving the console (Daily average 40).
*Mail merge email queries to all on the above which are online.
*Logging calls with Symantec and following to closure.
*Daily Remedy tickets for SEP & SEE.
*E-guest Wi-Fi administration (Creation & Deletion).
*Updating servers and all end user machines with new SEE and SEP client versions.
*Machine scans on request.
*Virus detection and removal.
*Data recovery files creation on request (Data Recovery).
*SEPM duplicate records removal.
*SOC team requests to have Policies added to SEPM.
*SEE & SEP queries from Eir and Tech M.
*Maintenance of standard desktop computer hardware and software in a networking environment
To be successful you need:
*2+ years working as an administrator on Symantec Endpoint Protection/Encryption or equivalent.
*Experience of working with Microsoft Windows XP/7 and applications
*Strong written and verbal communications skills
*Experience with ITIL-aligned processes such as Change Management, Incident Management and Continual Service Improvement.
*BA/BS degree in Computer Science preferred but other technical degrees or work experience will also be considered
*CompTIA A+ is desired but not essential
