One of the biggest multinational information services company is looking for a Sales Associate to target new customers within the region focusing on enterprise level opportunities. It offers a great opportunity for the right individual to progress into a more senior position, focusing on field sales and high value pursuits.
Your job will be:
*Driving new revenue from the Irish sector via opportunity pursuit and closure, winning new business.
*Definition and execution of hunting strategy into Ireland with full responsibility for a multi-million target
*Defining your own go to market and win strategies, taking input from business development managers and business leaders
*Understanding of the competition in the marketplace and new technologies that create market opportunities
*Work closely with the category management team to determine how to position the products and solutions to maximize market share and revenue potential.
*Working with your team to develop the sector - your team is virtual and includes support as below
*This role reports to the Sales and Marketing Director who in turn reports to the CEO. There are a number of reports to the Transport Sector Lead in the matrix structure including the Finance Business Partner, Delivery Executive and Presales Teams who will assist in delivering solutions to possible customers (both new and existing).
To be a good fit you need to:
*Have experience of some technology/services sales at a commercial level
*Have experience identifying and penetrating new markets
*Have experience closing deals (£100K+ ideally)
*Some understanding of current IT Services marketplace and desire to become an industry leading expert
*Be a proven hunter and winner of new business
*You need to win and are naturally competitive - driven by an innate motivation to achieve
*Understand the power of diversity - apply diverse thinking, appreciate diverse backgrounds, geographies, cultures and gender differences
*Productively disruptive - take risks, love to debate and push the customer to challenge their thinking, creating constructive tension for a positive conclusion
*Engage with high levels of optimism and energy - creates spark, ambition and focus within the team to drive success and sales
*Be intellectually curious and to always have a different view of the world - seek out the new and look for ways to connect internally and externally
*Commercialise ideas - take concepts, products and offerings and translate them into compelling propositions that customers want, desire and buy

and have use this to successfully close opportunities more quickly
