Systems Administrator IT / Senior Technical Coordinator
I am exclusively recruiting for AA Ireland for a Senior Technical Coordinator to join their IT team, the role is based here in their Head Office in Dublin City Centre.

This is a full time, permanent position offering a very competitive salary package including basic salary, bonus, pension, benefits and allowances.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.45pm plus scheduled on-call once every six weeks.

The Senior Technical Coordinator will co-ordinate and manage changes to processes or technology to allow the business to be as innovative, efficient and competitive as possible. Depending on the change, the role could involve working with all departments within the company to bring a requirement (idea?) all the way through to implementation.

Overview:

To provide resilient day-to-day live operational systems and services to the business, ensuring any incidents are promptly resolved.

Responsible for:
Resolve any underlying issues affecting IT operations.
Managing quality assurance programmes.
Monitoring and ensuring all key applications are operational.
Research new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
Ensuring the skill set of the team is kept in line with operations.
Delivers Technical support to the CAB process to control production change.
Lead on a number of small to large scale projects ensuring delivery on time, scope and budget.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation to integrate requirements and ensure achievement of key business objectives.
Manage cross-functional teams to drive progress, identify and resolve issues IT incidents.
Interface between the project team, business owner and IT operations to ensure adequate reporting and decision making.
Produce and maintain detailed project plans, reporting and managing risks & issues, escalating within the business as appropriate.
Produce efficient MI to adequately track and control cost, scope and time.
Work with third party vendors where necessary, including management of RFI/RFP process through Vendor selection and Implementation.

Your Experience:
Understand basic network concepts
Experience in working with Call centre Telephony applications (preferably Avaya / Verint) or similar would be an advantage
General understanding of a variety of operating systems
Ability to work in a complex technical environment incorporating DR, Resiliency, HA, with a focus on best practice solutions.
Understanding of Microsoft O365 Productivity Suite, VMware, HP Blade Server and Storage Technologies, MS SQL, IIS, Linux
High level of Competence in Computer Science or Strong Microsoft background
Experience in Call Centre Telephony technology (Preferably Avaya / Verint) would be an advantage
Strong ITIL framework knowledge important
Ability to liaise with / manage cross functional teams to identify dependencies and resolve issues in an efficient and collaborative way.
Demonstrable experience at actively seeking and driving through solutions in order to overcome project issues.
Exhibit professionalism and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to win commitment from others.
Strong negotiation skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
Leading and coordinating the resolution of complex issues where responsibility is split across multiple service providers.
