Reporting to the Logistics Warehouse Supervisor this role will have the following responsibilities:
· Storage, handling, packaging and distribution of Finished Goods
· Receiving, handling, and storage of Semi-finished and Finished Products and raw materials for shipping.
· Handling and loading of other goods and products shipping out
· Ensure all products/materials are received, stored, handled and distributed in a compliant manner (H&S and all regulatory requirements with particular emphasis in implementation of GDP practices)
· Organise and maintain warehouse and related work areas for efficient material handling and storage.
· Ensure appropriate controls are in place to effectively protect against damage, loss and/or shrinkage.
· Ensure both internal and regulatory procedures and practices are adhered to by all warehouse personnel.
· Maintain Good Documentation Practices (cGMP)
· Proactive in identifying areas of concern/advising superiors
Requirements
Ability to work in a dynamic environment dealing with continuous change and occasionally conflicting priorities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to provide guidance and hands-on training to peers and/or direct reports in the absence of the supervisor, and to work in a team.
Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to exercise good judgement
Good communication & interpersonal skills.
Commitment and reliability.
Pharmaceutical Experience Required
Min 5 yrs. experience in warehousing and logistics activities: inventory control, receiving, shipment preparation and shipping processes.
Experience managing and handling pallet equipment (forklifts, stacker etc)
Computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office applications
