Store Manager

Our Client, a leading Symbol Group retailer in Limerick is looking for an experienced Store Manager with a background in fresh food. With a major revamp now booked in for this year, this is a great opportunity to oversee the project and take charge of what will essentially be a brand new store.

As the Store Manager you will oversee the following:

- Ensure excellent customer service across all departments
- Deliver agreed upon KPIs
- Implement cost saving and margin improving initiatives
- Develop an action plan to drive new footfall into the business
- Recruitment and develop new team members
- Manage HACCP and Health and Safety procedures alongside the Deli Manager
- Liaise with the Fresh Food Manager on new product launches
- Weekly reporting to the store owner
- Maintain merchandising standards across the store
- Make team rosters monthly
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

- 4+ years at a convenience store manager level
- Knowledge of fuel desirable but not essential
- A deep understanding of margin and cost control
