I am now exclusively recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst for the AA Ireland. This position will be based at the Head Office in Dublin City Centre within their Pricing & Business Analytics team.

The AA is one of Ireland's leading consumer services businesses specialising in Motor, Home and Travel services and insurance. With more than half a million customers, we provide emergency rescue and breakdown cover for people on the road and in the home, as well as providing insurance for more than 200,000 customers. The AA employs almost 480 people across the country.

This is a full time, permanent role and the AA are offering a very competitive salary & benefits. We are looking for a Data Analyst with 1-2 year experience data analysts or business data analyst for this role.

Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst you will be joining a Pricing & Business Analytics team that is growing and you will have the opportunity to influence decision making across the business.

*Develop data analysis and business intelligence solutions to identify business insights that have a tangible impact on business performance
*Conduct full lifecycle analysis including requirements gathering, design and implementation of business intelligence solutions
*Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
*Maintain existing reports and create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
*Extract, transform and load data from disparate data sources and maintain databases
*Provide support to other teams across the business with data and analytical advice and insights
*Implement automation of processes to increase efficiency
*Monitor and audit data quality
*Mentor junior members of the team

Requirements
*Degree/MSc/PhD in a mathematical or computing discipline. Other degrees also acceptable if they
include informal training in statistics and problem-solving.
*1-2 years' experience as a data analysts or business data analyst.
*Strong analytical and reporting skills, highly numerate with the ability to solve complex problems
*Strong programming skills in SQL
*Experience in data visualisation tools a distinct advantage
*Good interpersonal and communication skills
*Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
*Experience of preparing and delivering documentation detailing outcomes of technical processes to a
wide-ranging audience
*Ability to translate business requirements into delivered solutions
*Experience in other programming languages an advantage e.g. Python, R, C++, R, Java, VBA
