Trainee Manager

Manpower are working in partnership with a symbol group retailer in Cork. An excellent opportunity has arisen to join their management team with opportunities to progress to Store Manager level in one of their stores.

Requirements:

- 2+ years` experience in fast paced retail environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with fresh food
- Passion for grocery retail

Responsibilities:

- Set, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on KPIs as agreed with Store Manager
- Actively participate in all training and development initiatives, and performance assessments
- Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times
- Supply procedures - ordering, delivery procedures, stock rotation and control procedures
- Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.
- Monitor waste and HACCP procedures in store
- Organise employee rosters weekly
- Drive new sales through innovative product/promotional ideas
