The Warehouse Manager is a senior member of the Logistics team, supporting the entire warehouse team and overseeing the receiving, dispatch and transportation of all goods, whilst delivering a best in class customer service experience. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Support the implementation of all new monitoring/picking and tracking services
- Provide functional expertise in all aspects of warehousing and distribution to support business goals.
- The efficient running of the warehouse including H+S, training and performance management
- Responsible for the safe and accurate unloading, picking and loading of all goods
- Responsible for the correct level of resource available to complete business objectives
- Oversee stock management and responsible for all stock movements inwards and out
- Responsible for all inbound goods, liaising with Head office, stock team and warehouse operatives
- Liaise with administrators to ensure all bar codes and container lists are produced
- Ensure all stock is recorded timely and accurately on the system
- Responsible for the best use of warehouse space and loading area to maximise productivity
- Checking the accuracy of goods movements, providing feedback and training as required
- Responsible for ensuring all goods returned and failed deliveries are processed via returns
- Ensure the successful achievement, management and reporting of all operational KPI's
- Responsible for succession planning and cover across core roles within the warehouse
- Ensure delivery teams are running at optimum capacity and report to Head of Logistics
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience managing a warehouse and distribution organisation
- Experience with eCommerce applications
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working effectively with cross functional teams
- Proven ability to lead change management projects in warehousing and distribution technology
- Good knowledge with M/S office applications.
