I am recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator for the AA Ireland. This position will be based at the Head Office in Dublin City Centre within the Finance Department.
The AA is one of Ireland's leading consumer services businesses specialising in Motor, Home and Travel services and insurance. With more than half a million customers, we provide emergency rescue and breakdown cover for people on the road and in the home, as well as providing insurance for more than 200,000 customers. The AA employs almost 480 people across the country.

Location: Dublin City Centre
Hours: 08:45-17:00, Monday - Friday
This role will suit a highly motivated person who is looking for a new challenge, with the opportunity to excel themselves. The main purpose of this role to ensure the smooth running of cancellations and collection of outstanding bad debt and enables the individual to interact with most departments within the business.
Position:
*Assisting the team with the cancellation process ensuring policies are cancelled on time and the accounts are balanced correctly
*Liaising with Sales, Customer Experience and other areas of the business, ensuring all queries are actioned and resolved within the agreed timeframes
*Assisting the team with the refund process ensuring all refunds are issued within the regulatory timeframe
*Identifying and highlighting any system issues which need to be resolved and raising this with the relevant department or your supervisor in a timely manner
*Outbound collection of aged debt by telephone - prompted by system generated tasks & own initiative using aged debt analysis reports
*Managing monthly insurer reconciliation in line with the company's credit terms and ensuring all underwriter queries are resolved within agreed timelines
*Review of processes and implementation of more efficient work processes
*Involvement in ad hoc tasks / projects as required by the business
Personal Skills & Experience:
*Ideally already qualified or studying towards CIP/Accounts qualifications but not essential
*Full on the job training will be given.
*Minimum of 1 years' experience in customer service position in the Insurance industry or in similar working environment
*Excellent knowledge of all motor insurance, home insurance and membership products, services, procedures & practices
*Attention to detail and accuracy is critical
*Excellent organizational and time management skills
*Good MS office knowledge
*Part/Qualified APA
