We are recruiting for a Quantitative Analyst. Modelling Role) for the AA Ireland. This position will be based at the Head Office in Dublin City Centre within their Pricing, Product and Business Excellence team.Candidates with experience and a degree or higher in Physics, Mathematics or Statistics will be given preference for this role.

The AA is one of Ireland's leading consumer services businesses specializing in Motor, Home and Travel services and insurance. With more than half a million customers, we provide emergency rescue and breakdown cover for people on the road and in the home, as well as providing insurance for more than 200,000 customers. The AA employs almost 480 people across the country.

This is a full time, permanent role and the AA are offering a very competitive salary & benefits.

Qualifications:
*Degree or higher in Physics, Mathematics or Statistics
*Minimum 1 year of experience in analytical role

Job Purpose:
*Price modelling and optimization
*Design and development of optimization and predictive pricing models, tools, strategies and policies
*Support to all steps of the Software Development Life Cycle of the pricing models, including testing, corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as deployment to Production
*Support to different business areas through the creation of data analysis and reports

Responsibilities:
*Design, develop, test, and maintain new propensity models that will drive customer retention and inform market segmentations (50% of role)
*Take ownership of some of the existing models, tools, and strategies, being responsible for the execution, maintenance, and evolution of same (25% of role)
*Create a wide range of different data analysis and reports requested by different business areas (e.g., marketing) as well as communicate such results to a wide-range audience in a clear, concise, and efficient way (25% of role)
*Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work to agreed deadlines
*Good interpersonal and communication skills
*Experience with Statistical modelling techniques such as regression, prediction and forecasting
*Familiarity with Cluster, Gradient Boosting, Random Tree
*Forest Data Analysis with an emphasis on
*Marketing/Customer Segmentation
*Strong problem-solving skills
*Interest in working within the Financial Sector

*TIBCO Spotfire or equivalent data visualization tools
*Knowledge of Data warehouse, an advantage
*Agile development processes and best practices, an advantage
*Enterprise Messaging System, an advantage
