Warehouse manager

With over 400 distribution and warehousing units worldwide, our client is seeking an experienced Warehousing and Supply Chain specialist for the their branch in Cork. The Warehouse Manager is a senior member of the Logistics team, supporting the entire warehouse and overseeing the receiving, dispatch and transportation of all goods, whilst delivering a best in class customer service experience.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

- Support the implementation of all new monitoring/picking and tracking services
- Provide functional expertise in all aspects of warehousing and distribution to support business goals.
- Responsible for the correct level of resource available to complete business objectives
- Oversee stock management and responsible for all stock movements inwards and out
- Responsible for all inbound goods, liaising with Head office, stock team and warehouse operatives
- Liaise with administrators to ensure all bar codes and container lists are produced
- Responsible for the best use of warehouse space and loading area to maximise productivity
- Ensure the successful achievement, management and reporting of all operational KPI's
- Responsible for succession planning and cover across core roles within the warehouse
- Ensure delivery teams are running at optimum capacity and report to Head of Logistics


Requirements:

- 3+ years' experience managing a warehouse and distribution organisation
- Experience with eCommerce applications
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working effectively with cross functional teams
- Proven ability to lead change management projects in warehousing and distribution technology
