One of the biggest providers of IT services is looking for a new colleague to join their onsite deskside support team in Blanchardstown for 6 months to become a part of L2 Deskside Support team.
Your job will be:
*Second level support of the client and application software on a range of multivendor laptops and PC's as well as Apple equipment (iPads and iPhones mainly).
*PC lifecycle management
*Other IMAC activities including office moves and software installations
*Support of mobile devices, mainly Apple iPhones
*A small amount of Hardware break fix may be required.
*Hands and eyes activities may be required on occasion to assist 3rd line support or partners.
*Be able to assist in the of management small projects/change. E.g. hardware or application updates.
*As part of the team, you will also be exposed to hardware imaging and testing prior to deployment.
*Asset Management.
*1st line support in Network Patching.
*Managing site activities and workload to ensure SLA's are met. There may be some preparation and management of site documentation and assisting the team lead and account SDM with any escalations. Assist to ensure Health and Safety requirements are met and kept up to date.
To be a good fit for the role you need:
*2+years of experience in deskside support
*Proven Service Desk/help-desk experience - strong customer facing skills - both face to face and telephone based.
*Be able to demonstrate experience of software break/fix for PC's and Laptops, troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems, Office suite and other mainstream software
*Troubleshooting network connectivity problems on PC's and printers
*Experience of training and coaching users how to use their IT hardware and software
*Experience with Windows 7/10
*Understanding of Microsoft Exchange E-mail and Office 365

*6-month temporary contract with chance of extension
*Salary €31,785 per annum
