Laboratory Manager, Dublin

My Client is a leading independent organisation for R&D and Testing of Personal Protective Equipment. They have clients in over 70 countries worldwide and due to increased business demands they are looking to hire a Laboratory Manager.

Location: Dublin

Reporting to: Senior Laboratory Manager

 

Job Description and overview:

*Client liaison, for example, discussing lead-times, costs, progress and technical advice
*Writing and issuing reports
*Commissioning of equipment
*Ensuring compliance with ISO 17025
*Representation on Standards Committees
*Follow up with other departments

 

Personal Skills and Experience:

*Experience with Laboratory testing of materials
*Knowledge of textiles or other flexible materials
*Experience of instrumentation equipment
*Experience of ISO 17025/UKAS Laboratory
*High degree of attention to detail
*Ability to work effectively under pressure
*Self-motivated - able to work to own initiative
*Good communication skills
