The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong working relationships with Senior Customer contacts; delivering USG, Market Share, Profitability and Business Building Terms budgets within allocated categories and creating and delivering the Joint Customer Business Plan at a category level.

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Type: 9 months initially* maternity leave cover
  • Salary: Depends on experience*
  • Days: Mon to Fri
  • Hours: 36 hours per week


JOB SUMMARY:
* Create & deliver JBP's
* Contract negotiation
* Develop business in new channels
* Deliver clear promotional category plans
* Financial and volume forecasting completed weekly
* Build strong and sustainable customer relationships with a breadth of customer contacts
* Manage BBT% spend within framework
* Manage accruals and pricing accurately and efficiently

Growing:
* Create and develop the promotional plan for retailers to deliver framework
* Ensure timely listing of all NPD and relevant distribution increases across current lines
* Optimise promotional sell out (evaluate all promotions and update promotional strategy) and deliver ROI improvement
* Deliver market leading in store activation of key events
* Grow share market share

Excellent customer insight and understanding:
* Effectively track performance, including NPD launches and promotions
* Provide timely insight & recommended action to hit / beat framework
* Use Kantar, ACN, store visits & brand view data to deliver insight to your customers & CCBT
* Have monthly meetings with buyers to monitor performance & ensure plan is delivered
* Sell in all marketing and land NPD listings on time
* Develop the importance of sustainability within the retailer
