We are currently looking for Level 2 Technical Support professional with previous work experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP support to join our client's technical team based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Initially it is a remote work until the office is fully opened.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP system - is a must for the role
  • Previous service desk and desktop support experience required
  • Experience administrating Windows Servers
  • Experience administrating Citrix Xen Desktop environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Android
  • Experience implementing & supporting enterprise LAN/WAN networks
  • Experience with Office 365,
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, routing, load-balancing, SMTP

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Install, maintain network and telecommunications infrastructure
  • Monitor and ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of the network and systems
  • Complete daily, monthly, annual checklists to ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently
  • Carry out any preventative maintenance and housekeeping on existing systems and infrastructure
  • Plan, manage and implement system improvements and modifications
  • Management and maintenance of Backups and Disaster Recovery systems
  • Prepare and maintain network documentation network and cabling layouts
  • Maintain an inventory of IT property and assets
  • Maintain consistency of Microsoft Active Directory Environment
  • Enforce security policy and software distribution via Active Directory and Citrix Xen Desktop
  • Proactively identifying improvements to reduce the number of frequently occurring requests to the IT team
  • Maintain and enforce IT policies/procedures in line with GDPR
  • Supervision of 1st Level IT Support
