On-Site Laboratory Resource Manager

The role of the on-site Lab Resource Manager entails using competencies and expertise in the preparation and coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance to optimize equipment availability and safety by minimizing downtime whilst maximizing EHS and GMP regulations support as required.

Some key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Single Point of Contact for client's scientists/ equipment owners Controls work orders processes per-incident and periodic Preventive Maintenance, Repairs, Calibrations, etc. Manage, plan and monitor work orders and resources needed to complete the work Contact service engineers from vendors visiting the client's facility. Commence work permits for visiting vendors in conjunction with site EHS rules & regulations. Manage the accuracy of the asset inventory Asset management in the appropriate systems (e.g. SAP). Incl. Contract additions and/or removals, inspection notes, location and status changes, associated permits, documents, etc. Management of vendor paperwork in association with client's equipment owners Review of vendor documentation Document all service-related documents (Service reports, Qualification reports, intervention information, etc.) in the appropriate systems Liaising with vendors, parts ordering, associated POs, RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements), liability insurance, etc. Quote requests /negotiate with 3rd party contract prices and coordination of out-of -scopes activities Facilitate warranty claims Facilitate 21 CFR 11 activities as needed [Secure electronic records and signatures, etc.] Liaise with other departments and attend meetings on-site for instrument queries Actively seek to provide continuous improvements of on-site services. Act as the concierge for both client and 3rd party Field service Engineers on and off the site. Other ad-hoc duties/requests
