SAP Sales Learning - ENVIRONMENT
The mission of SAP Sales Learning is to help accelerate the success of customer- and partner-facing employees within SAP. This is executed by top quality training and enablement programs, closely aligned to SAP strategy and business priorities, with the goal to impact revenue, profitability, and employee engagement.

The Learning2Go organisation within SAP Sales Learning owns and drives training, enablement, and competency development programs in virtual and digital approaches, such as virtual live classroom trainings, massive open online courses, online simulations, and micro-learning. Key elements are definition, alignment, and execution of a high-quality and high-impact enablement portfolio, jointly with global and regional stakeholders. This is an innovative organisation that also serves as central point of contact and thought leaders for all aspects of digital and virtual training and enablement for the organisation.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Virtual Live Course Program within Learning2Go is offered to all SAP employees and includes a wide range of professional skills and sales skills topics, that are being trained / delivered in highly interactive 60- to 90-minute virtual live instructor-led trainings. This normally includes between 1,000 and 1,500 courses per year teaching up to 40,000 colleagues per year.

The Virtual Live Classroom, Academic Assistant & Training Specialist is responsible for the execution of the Learning2Go Virtual Live Course (VLC) course plan in close collaboration with a Managed Service organisation. In addition, this role supports the planning, alignment, and empowerment of the company-internal course facilitator community. Finally, the role will be involved in ongoing course reviews, quality checks as well as instructional design and course development.
This role is extremely interesting because of its variety of topics and number of offerings as well as working with multiple stakeholders across global time zones.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

(1) VIRTUAL LIVE COURSE PLANNING & SCHEDULING:
-Single Point of Contact, aligning closely with a Managed Services to oversee the planning and scheduling of ~50 course topics per quarter, ~350+ classes.
-Review Managed Services planning proposal for course scheduling.
-Monitor Managed Services execution to ensure scheduling targets are met.
-Review current scheduling processes and identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency based on innovation and simplification.

(2) COMPANY-INTERNAL FACILITATOR COMMUNITY:
-Support coordination of the company-internal course facilitator community (trainers/lecturers).
-Interview prospective trainers to review their skills and evaluate match to facilitate courses.
-Oversee on-boarding and accreditation for internal trainers.

(3) COURSE PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT:
-Support the overall portfolio development of Virtual Live Courses with quality checks, course updates and enhancements.
-Instructional Design and course content development for existing or new courses.
-Establish and execute consistent tracking of courses based on standardised behaviour surveys.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
-University degree in Commerce / Business / Education / Psychology or comparable experience
-Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
-Highly motivated, practical approach to challenges and result oriented.
-Strong team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues on all levels of the organisation especially in virtual and international teams.
-Highly organised and quality-oriented with attention to details while keeping a good overview.
-Proven skills to influence and lead without authority in order to guide stakeholders involved.
-Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
-Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
-Self-starter that requires minimal oversight.
-Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

WORK EXPERIENCE
-Experience working in training / learning / people development.
-Instructional design / training development experience.
-Interest in people development, education, learning, enablement, and training.
-Analytical background with experience in coordinating / planning complex activities and projects.
-Experience or proven ability to work in a multi-cultural, virtual environment and team setup
-Experience or proven ability to effectively work with different stakeholders in virtual environment and build strong relationships

-In addition, the following would be a plus:
- Experience in Learning / Training execution operations.
- Exposure to work effectively with cross-functional global teams and a Shared Services organisation.
- Experience to work with sales functions or in a sales or sales-supporting role.
