Manpower is partnering with a leading equipment manufacturer in their search for a Buyer - this is a temporary role that will last for 3 months although it may be extended.
Based in Hungerford, this is a key role that will support the business as they continue to grow throughout 2021.
Your key focus as a Buyer will be:
- Assessing and qualifying new and a existing suppliers
- Solving quality-related issues with suppliers
- Working with suppliers to maintain strong performance with delivery and cost
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Agreeing new terms and supply agreements
This is a challenging role that will suit an individual that has:
- A CIPS Level 4 or APICS
- Good systems usage - such as SAP
- Experience with MRP / ERP systems
- A background in the manufacturing sector
