Manpower Group are working on behalf of a leading Digital Reality Company, a leading provider of carrier - and cloud-neutral data centre services EMEA. With more than 700 connectivity providers in over 100 data centres across 13 European countries, providing communities of connectivity, cloud and content hubs. Due to company expansion my client is seeking to appoint an experienced Facility Engineer.
The successful Facility Engineer will provide technical, preventative maintenance, repairs, installation and customer service support according to agreed SLA's in order to maximise client satisfaction. You will carry out maintenance and repairs of building and equipment in accordance with the quality standards while adhering all rules and regulations regarding Health & Safety to maximise uptime and PUE.
Other duties;
*Participate in the full continuous call-out team responsibilities and roster
*Primary focus during business hours is on Facilities Engineer responsibilities
*Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on all processes and procedures related to facilities including but not limited to cooling systems, access controls, fire suppression systems etc.
*Maintain a working understanding of EPO's and escalation procedure to ensure effective first line facility support.
Essential Criteria
*Secondary education in a technical field
*Previous experience as a Technician in an Electrical or Industrious environment
*Must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge of Air conditioning, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find using the production of graphical information and the utilisation of current alarm data.
