Title: Project Coordinator II
Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Project Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading medical device company based in Galway.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Provides project or program support to the Project Manager and team. The majority of time will be spent in the delivery of these support services and activities.
Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables.
Gathers and compiles information for reports.
Uses knowledge and experience to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
Assists in budget preparation for projects.
Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the PMO/Finance Section.
Carries out checks and makes minor adjustments to work methods to solve routine problems. May be required to highlight areas of concerns/problems and puts forth solutions in own job area.
Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding.
Communicates with internal contacts within and outside of immediate team.
May provide guidance and assistance to new or entry level employees.?
Knowledge and Experience:
Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with full job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education
Preferably qualified to degree level.
Competent in Microsoft excel and word.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Innate problem solver with an ability to work on own initiative.
