Cleanroom Sampling Technician

Quality Assurance Manufacturing Analyst is required for a new purification plant for the blood protein albumin at Grifols Worldwide Operations (GWWO).

This role offers a chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility, in an innovative Biotechnology company with excellent career development opportunities and a clear and committed patient focus.

Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Monitoring Supervisor of GWWO the role is for an experienced analyst who will perform aseptic sampling and environmental monitoring as part in the establishment of the Environmental Monitoring programme for aseptic manufacture and water systems for the manufacturing operations at GWWO.


  • Ability to gown for working in Grade A/B Class 100 cleanrooms
  • Execution of sampling and testing as per approved SOPs protocols and test methods.
  • Liaising with other Departments while carrying our monitoring, sampling and collections.
  • Ensure sampling equipment is maintain in a good and clean condition and ready to use
  • Ensuring sampling equipment is within calibration.
  • Compliance with ISO 17025, GMP, INAB requirements and Grifols internal quality and technical procedures.
  • Reviewing and support sampling plans for water systems.
  • Routine sampling of Purified Water and Water for Injection
  • Undertaking such other duties may be assigned from time to time.


  • Excellent communications skills - both verbally and written form.
  • A rigorous attention to details is essential
  • An appreciation of and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Good level of fitness, involves lifting, standing, gowning and daily working in cleanrooms
  • Capable of building strong relationships within a commercial operation, with other Departments and have an appreciation of business imperatives.
  • A professional, pro-active approach with influencing skills as well as an ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Approachable and friendly workplace manner.
  • Hardworking, practical and meticulous.
  • A third level Science qualification required, Microbiology preferred, but not essential.
  • The enthusiasm and ability to learn and develop new skills and cleanroom practices essential.

An extensive and comprehensive training programme will be provided, with new team members having the opportunity to further develop and enhance skillsets required.
