The NLP Trainer will be a key member of the NLP team, delivering high quality training to our Associate Linguists at all times. You will be the go-to person for all training-related questions and needs, working with Associate Linguists, their Leads, and the NLP Service Delivery Manager.

  • Ownership of the overall internal NLP Training program for Associate Linguists
  • Design and implement the overall NLP Training Framework
  • Proactively maintain and improve existing training materials
  • Create new training modules
  • Develop and implement Certification Process
  • Conduct training for new hires and regular training refresher sessions for all Associate Linguists
  • Shadow, support, mentor and coach Associate Linguists as they move into production
  • Build a trainer on-demand team
  • Collect data and produce metrics on training status & completion, training assessments, training effectiveness and report to Service Delivery Manager and Global Team
  • Work in close collaboration with Linguistics Leads to identify training needs and gaps, organize targeted training sessions and/or develop new training materials to close gaps
  • Remain up to date at all times of client tools and processes, incorporate any updates to tools and processes into training materials and roll out to all Associate Linguists
  • Participate in and evaluate 3rd party trainings and integrate to internal Training plan

  • Experience with Instructional design and developing training content
  • Strong Proficiency in G Suite/Google Workplace

Education & Experience

  • 2 to 4 years' experience working with NLP content (NLU, NLG, NSP)
  • A minimum of 2 years in a Trainer capacity
  • BA/Masters in Linguistics or related field


Desirable

  • Experience developing and implementing training via a Learning Management System
  • Train the Trainer qualification and/or experience
