Pickers & General Operative's

As a Dispatch Operative you will be required to assist in all aspects of stock maintenance, prepping and packing goods, handling dispatch documents. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for general duties within Dispatch and goods in, picking & packing, loading/unloading, paying particular attention to detail while picking and identify product codes accurately.

Full training will be given with an excelent rate of pay, Although this role is up until Christmas there will be oppurtunities of permanent positions in the new year.

You will be working in a cold envoirnment and PPE will be provided.

Hours of work

5 - 6 days per week (rotational)

7am to close (3/4/5/6pm)

45 - potentially 60 hours per week

The first 2 weeks will be based in their factory in Downpatrick, however our client will be providing transport to and from, from their Lisburn branch. After 2 weeks, you will be based in their factory in Lisburn.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manages pick ticket orders
• Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number requirements
• Ensures that orders are accurate
• Stages items correctly for delivery
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
• Monitors stock control systems and processes specific orders
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wraps products to pallets
• Loads delivery vehicles
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary
• Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
