The Microsoft 365 FastTrack SME will be helping businesses transition their software and data into the M365 cloud and taking ownership of the process. Using a growth mindset, you will power the customer's digital transformation through enablement of Microsoft 365 workloads by leveraging the FastTrack Service deployment approach.

Responsibilities
Technical Advisor:

  • Drive technical collaboration and engagement outside of CSS Product Engineering teams/services/support
  • Drive process, tool, service delivery and solution improvements that enable effective troubleshooting and remediation (incl. Diagnostics)


Planning Organizing & Executing:

  • Handle complex, political, financial, executive level cases - as business demands
  • Work alongside Serviceability and engineering teams as trusted advisor to improve incident resolution or service deficiency

  • Customer oriented. Look at everything through the eyes of the customer and their need for a holistic secure solution. Quest to gather feedback consistently and invest time and effort in the feedback to continually improve and grow customer trust.
  • Effective communication skills to effectively drive recommendations and establish priorities across various customers, partners, senior executives, and organization boundaries
  • Self-driven engaging individual with a proven history of demonstrated technical skills and leadership.
  • Ability to determine root cause of technical issues either on your own or in a collaborative scenario. Strong problem-solving skills are necessary.

Required experience with any of the following features:

  • 1 to 15+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field
  • OR related field AND 1 to 10+ year(s) technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience.
  • OR Certifications in SQL, coding, development, or other related certifications.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying, configuring and administering security solutions, ideally MDE/MDO/MCAS/MDI/M365 Defender in large organizations of more than 1,000 managed devices/users, covering the following areas:
  • MDE - Microsoft Defender for Endpoints.
    • Enable the Microsoft Defender MDE service by deploying an ATP agent profile using an onboard endpoint.
    • Set Microsoft Defender MDE configuration profiles (including endpoint protection and device restriction).
    • Set Security Center settings to personalize how Microsoft Defender MDE addresses the customer needs.
    • Simulations and tutorials (like practice scenarios, fake malware, and automated investigations).
    • Reporting and threat analytics.
  • MDO - Microsoft Defender for Office (P1andP2 configurations)
    • Safe Links.
    • Safe Attachments.
    • Anti-phishing policies.
    • Configuring automation, investigation, and response.
    • Using Attack Simulator.
    • Reporting and threat analytics.
  • MCAS - Microsoft Cloud App Security
    • Configuring the portal
    • Setting up cloud discovery to provide shadow IT using: Microsoft Defender for Endpoints, Zscaler. Iboss
    • Creating app tags and categories.
    • Understanding incident correlation in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal.
  • MDI - Microsoft Defender for Identity
    • Connecting Defender for Identity to Active Directory.
    • Running the sizing tool for resource capacity planning.
    • Running the auditing tool to assess the compatibility of your domain controllers with the sensor.
    • Deploying the sensor to capture and parse network traffic and Windows events directly from your domain controllers,
    • Integrating Defender for Identity with Microsoft Cloud App Security (Cloud App Security)
