Construction Manager
We have opportunities for Construction Manager to work on one of the largest projects in Ireland.
The ideal candidate must have experience working in a Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas or Semi Conductor environment. They must be a self- starter with the initiative and skills to manage his/her workload to meet necessary deadlines. Excellent time management, prioritising and communications skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Project Management
- Prepare relevant reports
- Management of Design Consultants and Building Contractors
- Provide solutions and cost projections
- Management of Site Design and Construction processes
- Planning of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors
- To manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
- Ensure project profitability
- Commissioning projects
- Reporting on construction progress
Essential Criteria for the Role:
- Good strong knowledge of the full design and construction process
- Ability to control and manage people and programs
- A trade background or a relevant third level qualification
- Proven record of co-ordination and managing large projects
- A minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Construction Manager
Desirable Criteria:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
- Ability to drive a large-scale project
- A construction backgrounds
