Overview:
We are hiring a Surface Specialist for our client based in Dublin. This role is an 18 month contract with a view to extend. It is a hybrid working model with an expectation of 1-2 days a week in office.
The role:
The Solution Specialist role is focused on working with our clients account teams to identify and drive opportunities in targeted workloads. As an Inside Solution Specialist, you will work closely with Sellers and Partners to plan and execute account coverage and campaign strategies to unlock new sales opportunities.
The role is adept at understanding the needs and process pains of customers to identify opportunities where our clients solutions can add long-term value.
You will have the exciting opportunity to be responsible for serving as the cloud computing subject matter expert for customers, fostering a positive and collaborative experience for prospects to evaluate, engage with and implement our clients products and partner solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers across industries, company sizes and types to determine needs and identify opportunities to fulfil these needs with Microsoft's Modern Workplace Solutions
- Own revenue targets/quota for aligned Area
- Communicate effectively with line of business and IT decision makers effectively via phone, email and social tools
- Own reporting on Surface business for aligned areas
- Drive pipeline creation and readiness activities with Account Executives - ensuring adequate pipeline coverage to beat the Budget.
- Using Microsoft data and insights, work with Account Executives to identify and agree a list of accounts that will be targeted with the Surface sales motions
- Responsible for ensuring that all opportunities are being proactively driven by the extended team and correctly updated in our internal tools.
- Sales floor support and presence - sitting on sales floor with Account Executives offering ongoing support, running open hours, deal clinics etc.
- Act as a connector between in-country Surface team and Inside Sales.
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic teaming environment with internal and external stakeholders
Job requirements/Desired knowledge or certification:
- Exceptional interpersonal, as well as verbal and written communication skills to succeed in a customer facing role
- Fluent English
- Degree preferred
- 4-6 years of technology related sales or business development experience, particularly cloud computing and management; experience working within a technical sales environment preferred
- Experience of selling into the Corporate account segment
- Knowledge of Hardware devices, in particular Surface
- Knowledge of Microsoft Modern Workplace Solutions (O365, collaboration tools, security etc.)
- Target driven and focused with proven track record
- Proven track record of outstanding performance and achieving goals
- Takes initiative to find solutions and overcome blockers
